I did some drop shotting at Lake Mohave

I recently did some drop shotting at Lake Mohave. Lake Mohave is one of my favorite lakes to fish at. I quickly caught several largemouth bass and smallmouth bass. Some of them were up to about three pounds. Crankbait also seemed to work well. I highly recommend Lake Mohave.

Fishing at Lake Powell has been awesome. Lake Powell is very full with a ton of incoming water. The stripers are biting and there are large shad spawns all over. Bass are still catchable. I wass also having luck with catfish using anchovies. Check it out.

I had a great time this fourth of July. We all went out for some fishing at multiple lakes. The fish were biting and the fireworks were brilliant. We did some camping on a four day weekend and shared some laughs. We also took out a few of our power boats on the larger lakes. I highly recommend a fishing trip for your next holiday.

A Bear of a Time at Bear Canyon Lake

I had a Bear of a time at Bear Canyon Lake. Salmon eggs and power bait seemeed to work well. I fished near the damn and found that worms also worked the farther away I got. I took my boat into deep water. Fishing at the bottom with float tubes brought in some nice trout. I picked up about 5 rainbow trout.

I always love fishing at Chapparel Lake

I always love fishing at Chapparel Lake. It is a nice relaxing location. The kids can play at the nearby park. I was able to catch several catfish using night crawlers. I even pulled in one seven pound catfish. There were also several sunfish around and I was able to catch them with power bait. Check it out.

Surprise Lake has some nice fishing

I went fishing at Surprise lake. I used a swivel and stink bait to catch a 7 pound catfish. Worms also worked well. I had several fish and caught some sunfish. The sunfish seemed to like power bait. Surprise Lake was truely a surprise.

Fishing at Kiwanis brings me back

I used to fish at Kiwanis long ago. It brings back some beautiful memories. I quickly caught a five pound catfish. I used mainly stink bait and worms. It was a ton of fun and Kiwanis is a great place with a lot of special memories for me.

Bear Canyon Lake

It has been awhile since I last visited Bear Canyon Lake. I was glad to see that the lake was full. It was recently stocked with rainbow trout and the fishing was good. Although shore access is available I fished from a small boat. Powerbait and flies seemed to work great. I caught some large 15 inche to sixteen inch. Check it out for yourself.

Trout and Bass at Willow Springs Lake

At Willow Springs Lake I successfully caught both Trout and Bass. I fished mainly in the shallow water. Using wooly buggers and rapala I was able to catch quite a few. Worms also worked well with most sized at ten inches. Willow Springs Lake is a great place to fish if you have a boat.

Lake Havasu is worth the drive

Lake Havasu is worth the drive. It takes me about 4 hours to get to Lake Havasu. I am greeted by water about seventy five degrees. The fish are biting and the stripers are spawning. Jerk baits and anchovies brought in the best results for stripers. There are some large catfish to be had as well. I did not have much luck with bass but Tube Baits seemed to work better than anything else. Check it out.
