I saw this really crazy werewolf movie Ginger Snaps. I like werewolf movies. They do scare me a little but it is that compulsive watching kind of scary. This movie was really strange and was about these two sisters one of who becomes a werewolf. There was a lot of psychic visions and flash forwards and flash backs. it was really confusing. But it was a good movie in the end.

I just watched the Presidential Debates. I found them to be quite boring. I miss those fun YouTube debates of the past. I thought the candidates just attacked each other and danced around each other restating their positions. I would like to have seen more variation in the questions such as the YouTube presidential debates provided.

Roosevelt Lake Fishing

Roosevelt Lake is about ninety percent full. Fishing is hit or miss. Early in the morning in deeper areas and cooler waters seem to have the best luck. Drop shots and crankbaits seem to work the best for bass. Give it a try but the action should pick up as temperatures continue to cool.

Fishing at Desert Breeze

I caught some large mouth bass at Desert Breeze recently. From a boat in the middle of the lake would yield the best results. I quickly caught 2 bass using worms and minnows. The largest bass I hauled in was about 12 inches.

I am really excited because catfish are being stocked again very soon. The week of September 15, 2008 should bring in about thirteen thousand pounds of catfish. They are coming from Arkansas and will be stocked in all of the Urban Lakes in Arizona including Veterans Oasis. This is a new urban lake in Chandler.

Early Morning Tomorrow

Tomorrow I will be heading out early in the morning. I will be fishing at the Tempe Town Lake. The storms have recently slowed activity but I have heard that catfish are plentiful. for the best luck try under the Mill Avenue Bridge. In the past I have caught several catfish up to 14 pounds and even fishing. Night fishing also is good at this location.
