Rio Vista Pond provided some great fishing

Rio Vista Pond provided some great fishing. I was able to catch a few 8 pound channel catfish. I used worms off the bottom and some stinkbait and dough balls. This catfish fishing may not last however as a minimized catfish flu seems to be infecting some of the catfish. I also picked up several sunfish with night crawlers.

I did some nice fishing at Alvord Lake

I did some nice fishing at Alvord Lake. Alvord Lake is in Caesar Chavez park. I was able to catch 3 large mouth bass. I used a grub spinner bait and worms. I also caught several bluegills. The boat dock did not yield much but more secluded areas had the most luck.

I recently got a new cell phone and paid way too much for it

I feel so stupid. I recently got a new cell phone and paid way too much for it. I went into a Sprint store and was looking at the new cell phones. Of course the good ones cost a ton of money. I actually spent about $100 buying it. I feel so stupid. BestinCellPhones has a better way to buy your next phone including free cell phones. I am definitely going to do this next time. Green Valley Lake

Green Valley Lake is one of my favorite places to fish. It is beautiful and peaceful. I caught 2 rainbow trout using worms from the short. One was about 3 pounds and 20 inches. I also caught several bluegills with worms under a bobber. I did see a few catfish but was unable to catch any. It was a beautiful day.
